177 – Moroni’s Invitation

Explanation:

Moroni concluded his record by addressing “all the ends of the earth” (see Moroni 10:24–34). He invited all to come unto Christ, to lay hold upon every good gift, to avoid all ungodliness, and to love God. Thus, through the grace of God, all may become “perfected,” or complete, in Christ. The structure of this passage shows that becoming perfected in Christ calls for a double emphasis on shunning evil, together with a double measure of the grace of God.
